Can I communicate with you HomeBase IP via SMS?

Yes, as a member of HomeBase IP you have opted-in to send sms to and receive sms messages from HomeBase IP to enhance our customer service experience. If you decide to OPT-OUT at anytime, please send a text  with any of these words, STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to 1-800-977-3957.

Is my sign-up fee refundable?

Absolutely! You will receive the refund when the equipment is returned within the 14-day free trial period.

What areas do you serve?

We service the entire United States. You can also chat with us live, or give us a call to confirm service in your area.

How many devices can I connect to the router/modem?

This depends on the device but with our router/modem device, connectivity can range from 10-250 connected devices per device.

How does the month-to-month subscription work?

Your initial order includes a one-time enrollment fee. You will enjoy a free 14-day trial before your first month’s prorated payment is due. After the prorated first month payment, your full monthly payment is due on the 1st of each month and will automatically be charged to your card on file.

Can I pause my subscription and resume later?

Unfortunately not at the moment. Cancelled subscriptions will require a new setup-fee upon reordering since it is treated as a new order.

I live out in the middle of nowhere, will this service still work?

Yes, we believe so. As long as you are able to use a phone service in your area, you should be good to go. Either way, that’s why we provide a free 14-day trial to ensure you do get service in your area.

Will the Internet work when I travel?

Yes it should work when you travel within the United States. The most important part is that you are able to plug the router into an electrical outlet since it is powered by electricity.

How does the service work?

Our service is pretty simple. One fixed price per month and a one-time setup fee. After your order, we will mail you the router and all you have to do is plug it in and connect. Then you only pay a flat rate each month, on a month-to-month basis. Cancel anytime just give us 30 day notice.

How do I place an order?

After I subscribe, do I own the account and the device?

Once you place your order and have service through us, you do own your service and can cancel anytime but the router is leased to you and included in your monthly fee. So you would have to ship it back and return it after you cancel your service. All routers and modems remain property of HomeBase IP.

When will I receive my order?

Orders are processed within 48 hours of receipt. Expect delivery within 3 to 5 business days. You will receive confirmation once your order is shipped.

Does it truly mean unlimited?

Yes, this truly means unlimited internet. The main thing to note is that based on how populated your area is, the towers might be clogged from time to time due to over population or high usage. Nonetheless, for rural areas you are very likely to enjoy a smooth uninterrupted connection, for as long as you want. 🙂

However, we have no control over possible network optimizations conducted by our major carriers for when their towers are being de-prioritized or updated. We are hopeful these will be occasional events, if any.
